We live in challenging times. Local families sacrifice a great deal for the future, stretching and saving our hard-earned money. Why should government operate any differently?
For the past three years, I have been proud to serve as your state senator in Breckinridge, Edmonson, Grayson, Hart, LaRue, and Meade counties. I have spent my time in Frankfort fighting for the rights of our working Kentuckians and focusing my efforts on cutting unnecessary spending. Slowly but surely, I believe we can build back up the trust between our Kentucky citizens and our state legislature.
People have a lot of different motivations for running for public office. My primary motivation is to leave my grandchildren, as well as all of the children and young people of Kentucky, a better world for them to live in and in which to thrive. That said, we need all hands on deck to ensure the bright future of our republic. As you’ve heard us say in the GOP majority: No more kicking the can down the road!
Our local communities deserve top-notch representation at the State Capitol. Strong leadership helps open the door to the best job opportunities available and I have been working hard to cut the red tape for our local businesses.
I am running for re-election to the State Senate to continue what I’ve started – by bringing business principles to our government, demanding efficiency, and working to reduce the tax burden on Kentucky families.
It has been a pleasure to be a part of the greatest economic growth in the history of our state. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to continue serving our district and to continue advocating for our way of life. I believe we can move Kentucky forward. Together, we will build a better Kentucky…one day at a time.
Sincerely and God bless,
Senate District 5
